“All misfortune is but a stepping stone to fortune.” Henry David Thoreau
When I was 7 years old I was hit by a car going about 45 miles an hour. My parents were told that only time will tell if I was going to make it or not.
I spend the next 7 months in a hospital recuperating from broken bones and severe head injuries.
I used to cried myself to bed every night because I miss my family so much, since my mother could only visit me every other day and I saw my siblings maybe once a month.
Been attached to a bed 24/7, with a bunch of weights pulling the bone on my right leg so it can go back into place, made those 7 months seem like years to me…
I saw things in that public hospital that I don’t even want to remember, but up to this day I have a very clear memory of a little girl who died right in front of my eyes one night, while I fought so hard to cover my eyes, with the only blanket I had.
But you know what? I no longer try to resist those memories or the feelings I attached to them for so many years. The same way that I don’t see myself like a victim anymore or seek attention by making others feel sorry for the challenges and adversities in my life.
The truth is that I don’t know WHY certain things happened to certain people for SURE.!
But I do have a CRAZY EMPOWERING IDEA that I want to share with you!!!!
BTW! A lot of times people ask me how or where do I get these insights, and all I can say is that I FEEL them thru meditation… I know that may sound crazy to some, and that’s why I call them CRAZY IDEAS! LOL
What if we picked our parents and our lives as the best scenario in which we can potentially grow from withIN the most?
What if we take on certain journeys that will potentially lead us into the SELF REALIZATION of who we truly are and what we are here to do?
What if when we are overcoming these challenges and adversities, we are actually impacting other people consciousness and inspiring them to have the courage to take on their own journeys?
Let me tell you this. I may not be able to prove this, neither do I feel that I have to, but in that hospital I revealed things about my POTENTIAL that later became the foundation that gave me the confidence I needed to overcome so many challenges and adversities throughout my whole life.
With that kind of inner connection I was able developed a belief in myself, that later when I was “down and out” as they said, I never lost the confidence that somehow I was going to find the way to set myself free from the false identities that were preventing me from recognizing the inherited qualities, faculties, powers and resources within who I truly am.
In another post I will talk about the power of FAMILY, the greatest inspiration ever, but for now just know that nothing happens without having with it, the possibility of you discovering more of your true nature!
Let me finish by suggesting to you that no matter what you have gone through in the past, or what you are going through right now, YOU CAN DO THIS! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
As you can see by the pictures I included in this post of people just like you and me, who have some how overcome way bigger challenges, and perhaps my CRAZY EMPOWERING IDEA, my not be so crazy after all…
With that said, EMBRACE life’s challenges and know deep inside that you were born with a greater PURPOSE than what the world is telling you.
Unleash your potential,
P.S. As you know now, part of my purpose in this life is to provide people with the services they need to reveal their true potential with the least amount of pain and suffering.
P.P.S. I will appreciate very much if you share this post with other people you know that can benefit from the content!
