Welcome to Better Men Ideas Weekly Series #2, Laugh as Often as You Can Attitude! And although I am about to give you some powerful facts about the impact of laughter in all aspects of your existence, I want to first share with you the most powerful and practical shift in attitude, with the potential to immediately transform your day to day ordinary experiences, into extraordinary opportunities for joy and growth.

Don’t take life so serious, laugh as often as you can attitude

Meaning don’t take yourself so serious!!!! I want to first warn you not to allow the simplicity of it, to take away the tremendous value it has for you. With that said, the key is that at the beginning you’re going to have to remind yourself at least three times daily (morning, middle and evening), for as long as it takes, to find something to laugh with, until it becomes natural again.

This is one of the most transcendental things anyone can do, and it is free. Anyone, regardless of anything, can and needs to find that joy that connects you with the field of pure potentiality where everything comes from.

Nothing is that important than can take away your inherent desire to consistently laugh with life. Of course there are certain places and times where the laughing attitude may not be appropriate, but it needs to be the exception, rather than your normal way of experiencing the gift of life.

I can guarantee you that if you follow this simple idea, you will soon be amazed about how great you will feel and the ripple effects it will have in your life.

Your spouse, children, colleagues, and just about most of the people in your life, will be naturally attracted to you because of the energy you put out into the world, which will include new and fun business opportunities.

With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health.

Laughter is good for your health

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

You really don’t need anymore facts because the greatest proof or evidence is actually going to be how you will feel when you take on this new attitude. All you need to do in this moment is ignore the voices in your head, and take action. You don’t even need to let anyone know you’re doing this, but I always recommend my clients to have an accountability partner, most likely your spouse.

I dare you to commit to this change in attitude and I will assure the results will not let you down. Again, it is the mind that you need to work with because it will make every attempt to discredit how important this is.

Change your attitude, transform your life. Being so serious is not serving you or anyone else. So why hold on to such a destructive, limited and boring way of experiencing the success you have worked so hard for??
