“Inspiration without accurate and effective Application is just another chapter of the never ending story of, when I do this, or have that, then I will be happy and content with my life.”– Darsana Roldan

Darsana Roldan Why is it that some people choose to believe what others tell them and others don’t?

Why is it that some people choose to accept a certain lifestyle and others don’t?

Do we truly have the will to choose? And if we do, why not use it to THRIVE in all aspects of our lives and for the best interest of all humanity, animals and the planet?

I am going to tell you the first choice that I made that changed my life forever. Not so you can make the same choices, but with the intention to inspire you to make yours.

At the age of 27, my biggest decision, became my greatest revelation.

Let me tell you why. At the time, although I was continuing to achieve all my worldly goals, which made it even harder for friends and family to recognize I wasn’t activating my fullest potential, I knew deep inside that the drinking and partying was getting in the way. Like anything else before that, I really thought that I would be able to stop the moment I decided so, but I couldn’t. The truth is that for the first time in my life, I felt defeated. There was a gap between what I said I wanted, and what I was doing.

When you hurt people you care about and then turn around and not follow through with your promises… any other success means nothing. This was the new chapter of my never ending story. The bottom line is I finally decided it was time to put myself through a 30 day program. From that day on I have remained sober for over 28 years, but that’s NOT the greatest revelation that I was referring to earlier. The greatest revelation was to self realize that I could overcome anything that my mind told me otherwise.

The reason that’s so important is because it took me on a completely different journey. I began to learn and understand our duality. I began to reveal what it means to BE a spiritual being, having a human experience. I began to live in the realm of thriving possibilities, instead of struggling in the realm of predictability.

Think about it… According to my mind I couldn’t stay sober, even when I tried very hard to do it. But the moment I went into that clinic I activated certain dormant forces within myself that I didn’t know I had before. Surprisingly to everyone, I knew right away that I would never drink or use again. Not because I couldn’t, but because I didn’t want to. I became the master, not the servant.

Just like that. So what changed?

I became Self Aware. I began an inward journey that has profoundly impacted everything in my life and has allowed me to consistently increase my level of perception so I can explore deeper dimensions of my existence and continue to THRIVE in all aspects of my life.

Instead of looking for ways of how to stay sober, like most people I met in that clinic, I left after 30 days determined to live my life to the fullest. That meant, I would no longer listen to anyone or anything, including my mind, tell me I couldn’t do something that intuitively felt was something I was meant to do.

“You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.” Alan Alda

Looking back 28 years ago, I can honestly say that I had no idea that in order to truly become the person that deep inside I wanted to BE, it would come down to me having to forge my own path. That’s only because after years of doing all sorts of intense therapies, reading a bunch of books, attending all kinds of seminars, conferences and deep healing retreats, something within me knew there was more to life than what I was experiencing.

Once again, we were having plenty of what most people called success, but as I mentioned earlier, this time I was on a completely different journey. I was determined to redefine what success meant for me and my family.

Let me clarify that I’m not putting down any of those people who came into my life. All of these experiences served me in their own unique ways. Specially when I asked my best friend and wife, Kalyani, to walk away from everything we owned, including our business at the time, and take on perhaps the toughest part of this revealing journey.

The great news is that after all was done, we were able to reveal how to transcend one of the most limited beliefs of our times. Meaning that you can BE both, happy and prosperous. That you can live a grounded, soulful life and simultaneously pursue, embrace and celebrate all the wonderful things you can enjoy from having good amounts of money.

“The real voyage of discovery consists, not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”  Marcel Proust

Do you know how many people are truly seeking and want more than anything to be able to do this? Do you have any idea how many people are constantly trying new things hoping that the next best thing would be the thing that changes their lives?

Not to mention, the unmeasurable amount of people who are either in denial, pretending or have given up believing that it’s even possible. I call this the never ending story of, “When I do this, or have that, then I will be happy and feel good about what I have accomplished in my life.”

In the last year alone I have been doing research for my new book and I have spoken with over 7,000 people from all generations. Amazing, great people looking for answers in a world that does NOT have them. Especially the Millennials, they know they want something different than past generations, yet they have been led to believe that they have to sacrifice one for the other, in order to be happy and content with their lives. Does that sounds like the never ending story to you?

I want to finish by highlighting something extremely important. I want to make sure that you know that I don’t have your answers, you do. That’s very clear to me. But what I can do for you, or your organization is uniquely remarkable. Obviously that’s not my ego talking. My confidence comes from tapping into deeper dimensions of intelligence and having the conviction that comes from over 25 years of experience.

The Thriving Code is innate in ALL of us, but there are certain shifts and tools required to activate such dormant forces within who you are. And that’s what I do. A complete set of instructions to assist you in activating the clarity, the confidence and the consistency required to transform yourself into the person capable to make the greatest impact in your life, your family, your career or business, your community and consequently make the world a better place for all life.

Love and appreciation,
